| Sounds like industrial jargon...except to boat owners who have chronically repaired and replaced faulty, yet critical, units near annually. The New Jersey coastal salt water and morning mists are perpetually rough on recreational and commerce boating electrical systems. Prior to Jim’s experimentation, and success with alternate designs and materials, the competitor units prevailed in the marketplace although they are merely water “resistant” and thus doomed to, often sooner than later, eventual failure. For the watercraft battery and bilge areas, water “proof” electrical housings have set an innovative, and superior standard. These products will outlast the life of the boat. Both size units are selling faster than this master mechanic can presently make them. |
